9-2008-129 This is the jacket Dawn was thinking of. I think it'll look good worn unbuttoned. I'm going to round out the corners at the hem. I may omit the folded up cuffs.
I've got my fabrics all lined up too! Yesterday I ran out and bought a cut of black satin to use on the upper collar for a "tuxedo" effect. From the stash, I'm using a woven black rayon as the fashion fabric, and I'm still deciding on the lining - either a Burberry stripe, or a dark pink (alleged) silk that a friend got in Thailand a while back. The satin is rayon/acetate and the bolt said "dry clean only", so I'll treat this as a dry-clean garment and proceed to cutting out the fabrics without pre-treating - yippee!

I think the tuxedo look will be terrific.
Good choice! I think the red/pink lining would be best with the tuxedo jacket :) BTW, I love all three jackets.
Great choices, I love the idea of the satin collar too.
I'm totally feeling the burberry stripe fabric. :):):) I got a cut of fabric that's a plaid and it has the burberry look to it. I'm in love with it, lol. I plan on making a coat with that fabric.
Have a good weekend.

Oh, I love your chioce. The tuxedo style jacket will be awesome.
Go for the pink lining! It's NYE! Stripes don't say NYE to me. Just my two cents.
LOVE the one you chose, while you're at it can you make one for me? :-) The shiny collar will look fab, great idea.
Nice! Stripes would certainly lend to the menswear style of a tuxedo jacket, but the pink is delicious!
I love the satin collar idea!
Great choice of pattern and fabrics - can't wait to see the end result!
Okay...please, please, please steam treat those fabrics before you cut them! Some sort of pretreatment is necessary even for Dry Clean only garments! I would hate for you to put all that time and effort in and then have the garment "shrink" the first time its drycleaned!!!
Otherwise, I like the choice of pattern and fabric!
Can't wait to see the picks and final product I know it will be magnificent!
