I couldn't resist

I bought a few new patterns this week. In theory, I have enough to keep me plenty busy. (And as you probably noticed, the "completed project" posts have been rare in the past two months.) I'm just trying to keep up to date...

Super trendy, but when Narcissaqtpie showed us that this is a knockoff of a pricey Shoshanna dress, I was pretty much sold (let it be known, though, that I'm not necessarily a big Shoshanna fan...). Coincidentally, I have that B&W print fabric! I bought it last year at Stitches, it's Prints Charming for Free Spirit.

This looks like a great casual jacket, you can see the details better on the line drawing.

Vogue 1027

Toya rocked this DKNY dress! Now I need one too.

Vogue 8235

An older pattern that I've had my eye on for a while. I'm going to include the right-most style in my wardrobe plan (which I do plan on sharing soon...).

Vogue 8385

This is the pattern I will be least likely to actually make, but I have good intentions :)

Vogue 8387

I love one-shouldered tops/dresses. The bow on the shoulder is a cute touch.

I love love love the jersey wrap dress. All the patterns are great. They will look fabulous on you too. I will have to send you something for one of them (on me) all the way from down-under.How about it? You can consider it a swap, since your blog gives me so much pleasure.

I will definitely be getting that first Mccalls pattern, I'll make the one with the sleeve so I can sneak it on at the office too, lol
great patterns choice, can't wait to see your next project.

I also pretty much like the 1st pattern. And you could use that last model to try to knock off the balmain dress ;o)

Looking forward to seeing your finished garments and learning about your sewing plan. I've been *trying* to make a plan for myself but I'm finding it harder to do than I anticpated (I think too many choices).
