and Vogue 8229 .

Very similar styles actually, both dresses have 60's style neck bands and elbow length sleeves. But the Vogue pattern's got a wider neckband and voluminous sleeves. That's the one I'm leaning towards...

i luuuuuuurve the sleeveless vogue dress, though i really do NOT like the sleeves on it...
though it would be silly of me to buy the vogue pattern when i already have simplcity 3835.
i reckon you could approximate the sleeveless vogue by leaving out the sleeves on 3835... *thinks a bit harder about how nice i'd have to make the facing*
