Busy weekend

We kicked off the weekend with dinner at Tavolata, the new Italian restaurant in Belltown. I love the brick walls and the long, shared table (although Tim and I got our own 2 person booth against the wall). We went without reservations, and we were told the wait for a table would be an hour and a half(!) We decided to go for it and hang out at the bar, and 30 minutes later a table was ready for us... We had the octopus salad, tuna ravioli, lamb shank, and absolutely delicious cannoli.

Tim bravely disassembled the dryer in order to replace a part that had broken. Different spaces inside were filled with cat hair, which probably shouldn't be a surprise but kind of was - that stuff just gets everywhere!

I finished a dress, gonna get better pictures of me wearing it in the daylight, so more on that later. For now I'll just say that I found a new favorite summer dress pattern.

And here's a sneak preview of a work in progress...

As always, whenever I am working on sewing projects, Tabitha is there to keep me company...

Hey -now I know where to check on what you're up to if I don't hear from you... but seriously, I've told you before how impressed I am with your creations - and Oma would be so proud, too!
