Here's my second version of BWOF 5-2008-113 (the first one is here). The fabric is lighter in weight than my first one, I like this better.
The yellow details are quite subtle.

This is such a great dress pattern, I highly recommend it. There are a lot of details to take care of, but overall it's an easy project.

ReplyDeleteYellow touches are really nice. What a nice dress! I'll keep in in mind. Good look with your muslin. The only recommendation I have is use your walking foot for topstitching if you have one.

I love the button band and belt loop detailing, they seriously took this dress a huge step up :)
Kestrel's Nemesis - I didn't use any hardware on the belt, just a tube of fashion fabric that's topstitched and tied in a knot. I'm not quite up to belt-making yet :)

ReplyDeleteHave fun with your swimsuit! I love making them - I've found that they are pretty easy to make and lycra is fairly forgiving.
